Poems we are learning

Penny, penny, easily spent -
Copper brown and worth one cent.

Nickel, Nickel, thick and fat.
It’s worth 5 cents – I know that.

Dime, dime, little and thin.
I remember – you’re worth 10.

Quarter, quarter, big and bold.
It’s worth 25 – I am told!

Hands are hanging by my side. I am standing straight and tall. Eyes are looking straight ahead. I am ready for the Hall!

Wow what a great class, doing an awesome job!

Experts tell us that 90% of all brain development occurs by the age of five. If we don't begin thinking about education in the early years, our children are at risk of falling behind by the time they start Kindergarten.

Names practice is improving. please remember to help your child write their name the Kindergarten way. For Ex. “HILLARY” is incorrect, but “Hillary” is correct. The only letter that is capital is the beginning. The rest are lowercase. This will be on their kindergarten exit testing.
